Information
The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is glad to accept international students who are interested in the research topics described in this Home Page. If you wish to study at our laboratories, you may be possible to join our laboratories as the Research Student, the Student of Master Course or Doctor Course. If you wish to study at our laboratories as the student of Doctor Course, you may be requested to have a Master Degree or equivalent experience in research activities to the Master Degree. The international students may be strongly recommended to have full financial support such as Japanese Government ( Ministry of Education, Science and Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) Scholarship or Private Scholarship. This is the noteworthy fact that it may be very hard for the international students to stay and study in Japan without any financial support. Having the financial support is the minimum requirements to study at our laboratories.

The following is the brief information on the Scholarship that foreign students could receive. If you need a Recommendation Letter in the application to the following Scholarships, please do not hesitate to contact the following with your Curriculum Vitae, academic and professional records. We could help you to study at our laboratories.

Japanese Government ( Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) Scholarship
The Japanese Ministry of Education, Science and Culture, Sports, Science and Technology provides its scholarship to international students who wish to study at the University in Japan. There are following two ways to get this scholarship. Please note that selection procedures for these two ways are different.

(1) Recommendation by the Japanese Embassy in your home country
The preliminary screening will be conducted by the Japanese Embassy in your home country based on your academic and professional records, examinations and interview. Final selection will be made by Monbusho from the applicants recommended by Japanese Embassy. For details please contact the Japanese Embassy in your home country.

(2) Recommendation by the University
Our University can recommend those students who have exceptional records achieved in the University, to the Monbusho for its scholarships. The Monbusho will make the final selection based on the documents presented by the applicants and University. Please note that the number of students who win the scholarship through the University is very limited. Furthermore, our University usually recommends those students graduated from the foreign Universities that have already had official students exchange agreements with our Mie University. For details please contact the following.
